I am very much delighted to pen these lines to our college web site. Alhamdhulillah
The first university entrance from this region ( in the Arts stream) in 1964 and in 1976 to the Medical faculty from our college. Many of our past pupils have excelled in their respective fields and shining internationally.
Our college ,the first National School in the then North East Province has climed many steps to be at its present status.
In 1980,two of our students represented Sri lanka school Soccer Team at the 9th Asian School Soccer Tournament held in Bankong. In 1993,one of our teachers represented the Ministry of Education, Srilanka at the Friendship Programme for 21st Century held in Japan.
We have been in the forefront at National and International achievements. We are proud of our students who addressed at the launch of the Trilingual programme held at the Presidential palace.
We were the only school from this area to receive gift back from His Excellency President Mahinda Rajapaksa to mark his 66th birthday, this honour, we achieved through our performance islandwide.
We have won the first prize at National Schools SDS Annual Report Competition counducted by AAT in collaboration with the Ministry of Education,Srilanka for the 4th consecutive years.

physical science stream in english medium.This is the first entrance in english medium to engineering faculty. We wish him for a bright future.
Sports 2012
Final day of the inter house sports meet is scheduled to be held on 02, March 2012. Rivalry prevails between traditional three houses that are Zeerazy, Firthousy and Gazzaly.
Bilingual Education
Biological Science stream is planned for Advance Level for the forth coming batch.
Students participated in the Olympiad Mathematics quiz on 18, February 2012 at Colombo Royal College.Meeladun Nabi celeberations held at School on 08, February 2012.
